The primary objective of our select hockey program is to provide a challenging and competitive environment for dedicated young athletes who aspire to play at a high level. Our progressive development program aims to cultivate a player's full potential, preparing them for success: both on and off the ice. Ultimately, our goal is to create a pathway for our athletes to reach their highest aspirations in hockey, whether that be playing at the collegiate, professional, or Olympic level. Kent Valley alumni have moved on to play at all levels, including the NHL, AHL, NCAA, USHL, WHL, NAHL, and BCHL.
Our selection process is try-out based, and open to everyone. Players do not need to be registered with KVHA in order to attend tryouts. Evaluations are generally held in the summer.
