Hockey 1

Program Details:

In this program, players are introduced to the basic skills that are necessary to play the game in a way that is engaging and fun. The objective of Hockey 1 is to teach beginners the basics of ice skating. Prior to moving into Hockey 2 - Learn to Play, it is essential for skaters to feel comfortable on the ice and to know how to properly execute a stride, recover to the hockey position, maintain knee bend, and to facilitate proper use of their hockey stick, along with their inside and outside edges. Players learn the skills that lay the foundation to excel in Hockey 2 - Learn to Play.  To register click the "Register For Hockey 1" link to the right.
