Kent Valley Announces “Try Hockey for Free Day” Saturday December 1st

Kent Valley Ice Centre, Kent, WA., Thursday, November 8, 2018 - Kent Valley Hockey Association will host Try Hockey for Free Day!  The event is set for Saturday, December 1st, 9:15am – 10:15am at the Kent Valley Ice Centre.

Kent Valley Hockey encourages kids, ages 4 to 10, to completely free experience to try youth hockey.  No experience is necessary!  A limited amount of equipment is available to borrow.

Protective gear will be provided. We will have coaches and volunteers to help your player get geared up and get on the ice.

Three More Entries for the KVHA 10U Record Book

We scanned the score sheets from last weekend looking for potential 10U scoring records and we found two.  Max White scored four consecutive goals in 7 minutes and 3 seconds Saturday to establish the KVHA 10U Record for Fastest Four Goals.  White also earned the record for fastest three consecutive goals in 1 minute and 40 seconds.  We looked back at prior games this season and discovered some additional records.  George Whitney scored two goals in 3 seconds to establish the goal for Fastest Two Goals. Way to go Hurricanes!
