KVHA News – USA Hockey Pacific District and PNAHA will host a CEP Coaching Symposium in Spokane, WA on September 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 2018.

Kent Valley Ice Centre, Kent, WA., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 - USA Hockey’s Pacific District and the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association (PNAHA) will host a Level 4 CEP clinic September 21st - 23rd in Spokane, WA. 

Details are available on usahockey.com under coaching clinics.  We encourage all current Level 3 coaches to take advantage of a level 4 clinic in our state and attend if possible.

There will be many national and district personnel presenting in depth hockey information at the symposium. 

There is no recertification required after a coach achieves their Level 4. PNAHA and the Pacific District will also be hosting Level 1 & 2 clinics on Saturday, the 22nd.  Level 3 will be hosted on Sunday, the 23rd.  Coaches can find additional information and register on line at usahockey.com under coaching clinics.  

This will be the extent of East Side coaching clinics for this season.  Please plan accordingly. West Side coaching clinics will be announced soon.

Learn to Play Hockey Program Now Has Fall and Winter Options

Kent Valley’s Learn to Play Hockey program is now offering a Fall Program (24 weeks) and a Winter Program (12 weeks).  The Fall Program begins in September and runs through March.  The Winter Program begins in January and also runs through March. 

This program, carefully tailored to the needs of our beginning players, provides an impetus towards fundamental skills development and motivation within the player through statistical comparison with peer groups across North America.
