KVHA News – Early Bird Registration Ends May 31st, Register Now & Save Up To 10%.

    

Kent Valley Ice Centre, Kent, WA., Thursday, May 24, 2018 – Early Bird Registration for the 2018-2019 hockey season has been open since May 1st.  Families who register before June 1st will be rewarded with the lowest rates for the season.  Rates will increase on June 1st.  Kent Valley’s registration rate structure is designed to reward early registration, so we can plan ahead for the season and make it easier on family budgets by spreading monthly payments over a longer period.  Register by May 31st and save! 

 

 

Robby Glantz International Power Skating Clinic June 1st and 2nd at Kent Valley Ice Centre

 

 

Robby Glantz’ International Power Skating Clinic is coming to Kent Valley Ice Centre Friday June 1st and Saturday June 2nd.  

   

The popular Robby Glantz power skating program will be here Saturday and Sunday, June 1st and 2nd.  Total cost of the program is $225 and provides 4.66 hours of total on-ice instruction over two days. 

   

Group A (Squirts, Pee Wee, & Up): Fri: 6:00-7:10pm & 7:20-8:30pm • Sat: 9:00-10:10 am & 10:20-11:30am. 

Mite Travel Level Players may enroll too.  Players are split by age/skill level for station training.  This Program still has Openings… Click here for full details and registration.

 

 

 

Harry Smith to Coach 18U Tornadoes with Cadiente

 

 

Harry Smith will team up again next season with Chuck Cadiente to coach Kent Valley’s 18U Tornadoes.  Smith has coached at Kent Valley Hockey Association for the last 13 years coaching at the Mite, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget levels.  He has also assisted with Learn to Play for the last 13 years, has run several Spring LTP sessions and has coached Kent Valley’s Spring Practice sessions for various age levels for the last 5 or 6 years.  Smith has coached several Spring tournament teams and is currently assisting with Edmonds-Wooley High School Hockey team.  He holds a Level 4 USA Hockey Coaching Certification.

   

Harry Smith was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia and played street hockey as a kid.  He took up ice hockey when he was transferred to Grand Rapids Michigan in 1999.  He and his family moved to Kent Washington in 2003.  He has played in both the GSHL and the Rainier Hockey league for the last 15 years and has refereed for the last 4 years.

Memorial Day Holiday Events at Kent Valley Ice Centre

    

Kent valley Ice Centre has quite a lineup of public skating events for Memorial Day, Monday May 28th.  If you’re in town on Monday and looking for something to do, check out the Ice Schedule and come on down and enjoy a “cool” Kent Valley Ice Centre.

    

10:15am – 11:45am   Adult Stick n’ Puck
12:00pm – 5:30pm     Memorial Day Holiday Skate
5:45pm – 7:45pm      Open Stick n’ Puck
8:10pm to Midnight     Ice is available for rental in 30,
                                 60, 90 minute increments until
                                 closing at 12:30am.

 

Mini Golf and Batting Cages will be open throughout the day.
