The little guy in the red KVHA jersey in the photo on the right is Trevor. He is a 2008 graduate of our LTP program and will be skating his fourth season with the Kent Valley Tornadoes Squirt team during the 2011-2012 season. Trevor scored the first goal of his young hockey career during his very first game with the Tornadoes in the 2008-2009 season, a testimony to the quality of KVHA's LTP program.

LTP TESTIMONIALS
April 2009
Danny Lorenz,
Thank you for the thoughtful end of season note and once again we wish to say how great a job you and all the coaches did. This year’s program exceeded our expectation. It did spark interest, but also raised the bar in the professionalism of the program and some of the skills, like the basic rules, carry into how they behave off the ice. Aidan is taking great pride in his newly acquired skills.
BTW he told me he has to be 5 to graduate to beginners and 6 to advanced beginners . Ah how a young child’s mind works!
We will be there this week, but will miss the first week of Spring LTP.

Danny Lorenz,
Hi Danny, wanted to thank you for the great job you and your fellow coaches have done. We are very new to the Hockey culture and our son Aaron has enjoyed this experience a great deal. He has moved to the white tape group about halfway through the sessions and is trying to keep up with all the speedy little kids around him. We are proud of his progress and he seems like he wants to continue with the spring sessions.

Danny Lorenz,
For the last month or so we have been keeping Nicholas to doing LTP every other week. With our work schedules it has just made it easier. Nicholas will be there on Saturday April 11th. We have had a great time doing LTP and are looking forward to him progressing more next season. He is a hockey freak. When he walks around the house, he is actually skating and he is rarely without a hockey stick, or something he makes into a hockey stick in his hand. We are definitely going to sign up for next fall's LTP. Thanks for all that you have done for our boy. We appreciate you! Amy and Robert Burnett

Dear Kent Valley Hockey Association
I just want to let you know that I could not be more pleased with how it's going for Christopher. After only 3 weeks, he is staying out on the ice for the full hour, getting all the individual attention he needs, and is learning quite a bit. I felt so proud last week when I saw him trying little bunny hops to your whistle drill, and this week he was learning to weave the cones with a puck and a stick. The coaching setup that you have is fantastic! Thank you for helping my son be successful (with gear and encouragement.)
Have a great day, and thank you for the work you do.
